Kirsten Vangsness is an American actor since the early 1990s. Her most notable role was that of Penelope Garcia, in the acclaimed police procedural crime series Criminal Minds. Kirsten Simone Vangsness was also a part on the two spinoff series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders' as well as Criminal Minds: Speculative Behavior. While she is primarily acting on TV shows however, she has had some small roles in film since making her first appearance in the show business in 1998. Alongside her notable films, Ms. Williams has also appeared in such films as "In My Sleep", The Chicago 8 and Kill Me, Deadly. In addition to writing articles for the 'The Los Angeles Times', she's also the co-writer of three episodes on the show 'Criminal Minds'.
